Celebrations...they can be for little or big reasons, be low-key personal rituals or massive public events. We have them to acknowledge what is happening in our lives, the thresholds crossed and milestones reached. In the midst of constant change, they provide an anchor for us and fill us with a sense a purpose and a feel good factor.
Often we can get stuck on what is not happening in our lives, where we are not progressing, but when we turn to focus on what is working, what is going well, what is positive...not so surprisingly it has a great effect on our health, wellbeing and performance.
Given that we are mid-way through the calendar year, it is the perfect opportunity to take time out and invest in your team and celebrate what you have achieved and what is going well so far.
And speaking of celebrations, here’s to my beautiful sister Hannah who turns 35 today!
